Lightcast Manufacturer Warranty
  Warranty on LIGHTCAST®, Inc. manufactured products (LIGHTCAST®, Inc.resold products, such as Breathalyzers,  Radar Speed Signs, do not apply and are warranted by that manufacturer, call customer service for details on these warranties, most are posted on the product page):

  THE FOLLOWING WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES ARE EXCLUSIVE AND THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, ORAL OR WRITTEN, EXPRESSED OR

IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO ANY PRODUCTS OR SERVICES SOLD HEREUNDER, WHETHER AS TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR

PURPOSE, OR ANY OTHER MATTER.
   
 A. LIGHTCAST®, Inc. warrants that products sold will be free from defects in material and workmanship which appear within 365 days of the date of shipment by LIGHTCAST®, Inc.

  B. Limitation of Remedy: LIGHTCAST®, Inc. limits its obligation to repair or replace, at its option,products which are proven to be defective. The warranties and remedies set forth herein do not apply to products or parts thereof which may have been subjected to issue (including inadequate maintenance),improper storage, or incorrect installation or service not performed by LIGHTCAST®, Inc.

  C. Limitation of Liability:
   
  (1) LIGHTCAST®, Inc. WILL NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, WHETHER AS A RESULT OF A BREACH OF CONTRACT,BREACH OF WARRANTY, OR
TORT BE OTHERWISE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES including but not limited to, loss of profits or revenues, loss of use or damage to any associated equipment, cost of capital, cost of substitute products, facilities or services, downtime costs, or claims of buyer's customers.

  (2) LIGHTCAST®, Inc's LIABILITY ON ANY CLAIM OF ANY KIND FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE ARISING OUT OF, RESULTING FROM, OR CONCERNING ANY ASPECT OF THE FURNISHING OF PRODUCTS LISTED IN OUR CATALOG SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PRICE OF THE SPECIFIC ORDER OR SHIPMENT WHICH GIVES RISE TO THE CLAIM

  (3) LIGHTCAST®, Inc. will not be subjected to any liability, whether in contract warranty, tort or otherwise, on any claim for loss or damage concerning products, parts, advice, assistance or service which LIGHTCAST®, Inc. furnishes to buyer as a business courtesy.

  RETURN PROCESS:

Call LIGHTCAST Inc to obtain an RA#. If damage occurred due to shipping, immediately contact the local shipping company manager for his/her review. Pack merchandise carefully to avoid further damage, and complete Return Form with product or call for a new form. General Information


 

  •   No hidden fees! Lightcast & Networks charges only what the carrier charges for shipping signature, and insurance to deliver your package.
  •   Heavy orders will be split into 70lb. packages. We will not ship packages over 70lb. for the safety of our employees (and
           for your safety and comfort upon arrival). Thank you for understanding.
  •   Shipping time varies depending on both the shipping method you choose and how far away from Alabama or our other warehouses you live.
           If you live on the West Coast, UPS allows as many as 10 weekdays to get a package from us to you (it rarely takes longer than
           that, except shortly before Christmas). Remember to only count weekdays (UPS packages move very little over the weekend).
           Also, keep in mind that the day a package leaves our warehouse does not count as a shipping day.
           
  •   Alaska & Hawaii: The Post Office (USPS) offers the best price for shipments to Alaska and Hawaii. Shipments to Alaska or
           Hawaii via UPS Next Day Air, UPS Two Day Air and FedEx might experience delays.
  •   Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands &British Virgin Islands: islands around the USA are treated differently by different
           carriers. Usually, the Post Office (USPS) is the best choice for shipments to Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands and
           the British Virgin Islands, because the Post Office treats them as domestic deliveries.
  •   To get a shipping estimate for a specific purchase, add desired items to your shopping cart.

 

Federal Express (FedEx)


 

FedEx Guaranteed Delivery Service
Lightcast offers the following FedEx guaranteed delivery options. These services cost more because they are guaranteed and the package is sometimes shipped via air. Delivery to Alaska and Hawaii might take longer than the times listed below.

  •   Express Saver – arrives on the third day by 4:30 pm to most commercial areas, and by 7:00 pm to residential areas.
  •   Two Day – arrives on the second day by 4:30 pm to most commercial areas, and by 7:00 pm to residential areas.
  •   Standard Overnight – arrives on the next day by 3:00 pm to most commercial areas.
  •   Priority Overnight – arrives on the next day by 10:30 am to most commercial areas.

 
FedEx Service Guarantee Exceptions
  •   FedEx's service guarantee does not apply to FedEx Ground® or FedEx Home Delivery® shipments picked up or scheduled
           to be delivered between approximately Dec. 11 and Dec. 24. Shipments will be scheduled to be delivered on time, but if they
           are late no refund is given.
  •   Guaranteed delivery time for all FedEx services is moved from 10:30am to noon for Dec 18-21, Dec 25-26 and Dec. 31.
  •   No FedEx services are guaranteed Dec 22-24. Shipments will be scheduled to be delivered on time, but if they are late
           no refund is given.

 
FedEx Tracking
  •   All FedEx packages have tracking numbers that you can track online.

 
FedEx Signature Requirements
  •   FedEx requires a signature, although …
  •   A customer can obtain a no signature required (signature on file) card from FedEx office, or driver.  Once this card is on file,
           FedEx will always leave the package.

 
FedEx Other Information
  •   FedEx is self-insured for the first $100, then the insurance rate is $0.65 per $100, with a minimum charge of $1.95. We
           insure all packages.  It is our policy.
  •   FedEx does NOT deliver to Post Office boxes – they need a physical address and a phone number.
  •   Saturday delivery is available for an extra $15.00. This is only available for Overnight Priority.
  •   FedEx defines some areas as remote residential zones and adds a $2.40 charge for delivery. They also define some areas
           as remote commercial zones and charge an additional $1.60 for delivery.  This is their call — not ours.
  •   To find out delivery time of day, or other information, check the phone book for your local FedEx office's customer information
           line. Their national number is 1-800-GOFedEx. You can track the progress of your package online at www.fedex.com/us/.

 

United Parcel Service (UPS)


 

UPS General Information
  •   Ground delivery to a residence is guaranteed in terms of arrival date.
  •   Ground delivery service may take up to two weeks (8-10 business days) coast to coast to a residential address.
  •   The latest UPS will deliver a package is 4:30pm in commercial areas and 6:30pm in residential areas.

 
UPS Guaranteed Delivery Services
Lightcast Networks offers the following UPS guaranteed delivery options. These services cost more because they are guaranteed and the package is sometimes shipped via air. Delivery to Alaska and Hawaii might take longer than the times listed below.

  •   Three-Day Select – arrives on the third day by 4:30 pm to most commercial areas, and by 7:00 pm to residential areas.
  •   Second Day Air – arrives on the second day by 4:30 pm to most commercial areas, and by 7:00 pm to residential areas.
  •   Next Day Air – arrives on the next day by 10:30 am to most commercial areas.
  •   Ground to a commercial address (map of estimated delivery times)

 
UPS Service Guarantee Exceptions
  •   UPS's service guarantee does not apply to commercial and residential ground shipments picked up or scheduled to be
           delivered between Dec. 1 and Dec. 31. Shipments will be scheduled to be delivered on time, but if they are late no refund is
           given.
  •   No UPS Ground shipments will be delivered on December 31.
  •   UPS's service guarantee also does not apply to UPS Standard shipments to Canada picked up or scheduled to be delivered
           between approximately Dec. 1 and Dec. 31.
  •   Except for UPS Early AM and UPS Worldwide Express Plus, the on-schedule delivery guarantee for air and international
           service shipments delivered within the United States will be extended by 90 minutes both the day after Thanksgiving Day
           and on December 19 through December 24.
  •   Guaranteed delivery time for UPS Next Day and Two-Day Air services is moved from 10:30am to noon for Dec 18-21, Dec 25-
           26 and Dec. 31
    .
  •   No UPS services are guaranteed Dec 22-24. Shipments will be scheduled to be delivered on time, but if they are late
           no refund is given.

UPS Signature Requirements
  •   Signature required for all packages delivered to a commercial address
  •   Customer can request no signature required for residential delivery.  UPS will generally leave packages anyway if no one
           is home. BUT this is dependent on the driver.
  •   Customer can request Adult Signature Required for an additional $3.75
  •   Customer can request Signature Required on residential deliveries for an additional $2.75

 
UPS Other Information
  •   If UPS is not able to successfully deliver a package to the given address, they charge $10 to redirect the package to a
           different address.
  •   For heavy (e.g. polymer clay, large quantities of castings or plastic bags) or oversized (e.g. displays, stringing boards)
           orders, add an extra $0.20 per estimated pound.
  •   UPS drivers define residential addresses (usually as a place where people live….If you work from home, it is residential.
           Residential rates are approx. $2.00 more.  UPS defines it — not us.
  •   UPS is self insured for first $100 of order, then the rate is $0.60 per $100 value, with a minimum charge of $1.80.

United States Postal Service (USPS)


 

USPS Guaranteed Services
  •   The Post Office guarantees Express Mail to arrive in 1-2 days. But, because our packages arrive at the Post Office later than
           their daily cut-off time, actual delivery time for USPS Express through Lightcast & Networks takes 2-3 days from when we
           ship your order
    .

 
Other USPS Delivery Services
  •   Priority is not guaranteed — the Post Office says two to three days anywhere in the country.
  •   First Class is not guaranteed.

 
USPS Tracking
  •   No tracking numbers for Priority or First Class.
  •   Tracking numbers for Express Mail.
  •   Through Lightcast & Networks, all USPS Priority and First Class packages receive Delivery Confirmation free of charge. This
           service allows you to look online and see when a package was delivered … it's not a tracking system (it's more helpful for
           the package sender than the recipient).

 
USPS Signature Requirements
  •   Signatures are required for Priority packages valued at $500 or more, and for Express mail shipments (no fee).
  •   "Signature confirmation" is available for First Class and Priority mail of any value – this service costs an additional $2.20.

 
USPS Other Information
  •   Driver decides whether to leave package, if it fits in box, etc.
  •   Insurance rate based on $$ amount of items in the order.
  •   Post Office moves packages over the weekends.
  •   The US Post Office offers the best price for shipments to Alaska and Hawaii. In addition, shipments to Alaska or Hawaii
           via UPS Next Day Air, UPS Two Day Air and FedEx might experience delays.
  •   Post Office does deliver on Saturdays.
  •   We (Lightcast & Networks) insure all packages.  It is our policy.
  •   We cannot put a claim in on a package with the Post Office until 30 days after it was shipped.
